Step 2 Hypothesis • Tourism: • Vung Tau has a larger percentage of Vietnamese than foreign tourists • Tourists in Vung Tau stay for a short duration • Tourism has had little impact on traffic in Vung Tau • Beach • Long Shore Drift transports material in a Southerly direction on the Back Beach, Vung Tau • The beach is affected by constructive waves at Vung Tau

  4. Format of report • Introduction • Where, when, hypotheses and some theory explanation • Field sketches / maps (google earth photos??) • Equipment & Methods • How did you collect data? Sampling techniques • Data & Analysis • Hand draw a beach profile to help with your analysis • Graph your results (pie/bar/line whichever is most appropriate) • Analyse your results – what do they show • Conclusion & Evaluation • Link back to your hypothesis, can you accept / reject them? • Relate to theory • What could you improve? Possible limitations of your data? Suggested improved hypothesis • Approx 1000 words
