Exploring Romanticism and Transcendentalism: Connections and Key Ideas

In our group discussion, we analyzed select quotes reflecting the core beliefs of Romanticism and Transcendentalism. These texts prompted thoughts on the inherent goodness of people and the restorative power of nature. Connections were made to previous knowledge on individuality and the impact of society. The key idea of each text was identified, supported by two chosen quotes that illustrate how they align with Romantic values, such as the emphasis on nature and the celebration of the individual. Our findings represent a deeper understanding of these philosophical movements.
