  15. How it works High Level Application • Mandatory Clearance: • 4ft on ends of the frame • 8ft between systems

Hot air from the servers is controlled through Hot Aisle Containment (HACS) The hot air is then rises to the ceiling plenum and fed into the return ducting of the EcoBreeze The IT air is then cooled and supplied back to the data center through a raised floor plenum or cold aisle diffusers The cool air is forced through the perforated tiles in front of the server racks and used to keep the servers at a safe operating temperature

Hot air from the servers is controlled through ducting connected to the racks (VED) The hot air is then rises to the ceiling plenum and fed into the return ducting of the EcoBreeze The IT air is then cooled and supplied back to the data center through cold aisle diffusers. The diffusers have a bowling alley type discharge that sends the air down the cold aisle

How it works Cooling Module – Air to Air Heat Exchange • When ambient air drops below 45°F (setpoint adjustable) • System water is dumped to prevent freezing and/or dumped after 24 hours (user adjustable) of spray free operation • Only requires power of fans to move the air (If DX assist is not needed) • Cool air passes over the outside of the heat exchanger channels, cooling the hot IT air flowing inside.

  20. How it works Cooling Module – Evaporative Cooling • Heat is removed from the IT air by evaporating water on the outside of the heat exchanger channels • Water is supplied evenly over the heat exchanger channels via spray nozzles • Maintains the adjustable IT supply air set point
