Berkeley SHIP Premium Updates for 2014-2015 Academic Year

The University of California, Berkeley, has announced significant premium changes for the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) for the 2014-2015 academic year. Undergraduate premiums will rise to $1,095.00 per semester ($2,190.00 annually), reflecting an 8.7% increase. Graduate premiums will increase to $1,577.00 per semester ($3,154.00 annually), a 13.8% increase. The adjustments are based on recent claims data, ACA taxes, and broker fees.
