Summary • Precision: • GPS > Li PhyReg > GFS > Li Phy GFS > Ma Phy • Accuracy: • GPS appears too dry, larger than 1 mm bias, and bias is larger in moist condition • The GOES sounding appears SLIGHTLY moist • Factors affecting the GOES sounding statistics include: • Point VS area measurements • Cloud contamination • Suggest to use Li PhyReg
