  2. Today’s World • Natural Disasters • Political Upheavals • Racial tensions • Hate is on the rise • We feel stress and anxiety. Life is busy. We feel maxed out. Lifestyle feels heavy.

  3. Things in life that bring peace… • Accounts • Retirement Funds • Safety • Relationships • Power The culture’s peace is temporary and brings brokenness and stress

  4. The Disciples’ Peace • Jesus was their peace and security, now he tells them he needs to leave. • Time for them to leave the nest. • Need to plug and play • What did He tell them? John14:27

  5. Real Peace • Real peace comes from the presence of God. • This peace had a price Colossians 1:19-22 • This peace is not passive. Philippians 4:7

  6. Peace With God • Romans 5:1 This peace only comes through Jesus Christ.
