Early Man. Early man interacted with their environment by Homo habilis made many tools that are used today such as the hoe. They farmed and made food. They started hunting and gathering in groups because it was easier to stay alive.

Early Man • Early man interacted with their environment by • Homo habilis made many tools that are used today such as the hoe. • They farmed and made food. • They started hunting and gathering in groups because it was easier to stay alive. • Homo Erectus made fire for warmth and it eliminated diseases.

Early Farmers • Early farmers interacted with their environment by • planting crops and made new plants with new and different types of seeds. • They realized that instead of hunting and gathering, they changed everything and farmed instead of migrating to find food. • They mad small civilizations such as CatalHuyuk. • Home of the first farmers were in the fertile crescent when they first started to farm.

Mesopotamians • Mesopotamians interacted with their environment by • Using irrigation systems by making small trenches to fill with water • They used small boats • They made Mud brick houses, instead of just sleeping on the ground • They had Surplus so they wouldn’t die of starvation • They had Clay pots that they used and were valuable • They had Droughts that stopped them from having crops so they herded animals so they wouldn’t starve. • The had 2 rivers( Euphrates and Tigris) that they got many of their resources from.

Egyptians • Egyptians interacted with their environment by • The Egyptians plated many crops. • They made many tools that are still used today. • They usedsilt for their plants that helped plants grow. • They made the first Pyramids and they are still standing today • They found new ways to preserve body’s when old people dies, and those ways are still used today. • Egyptians found ways to trade and to get from place to place.

Ancient Chinese • The Ancient Chinese interacted with their environment by • Using Terrace farming whenever they farmed for rice. • They gathered and Used Resources like Iron for Armor and Didn’t waste things • They used water for travel and made boats • China gathered and used animals for food and they found our what and what's not poisonous

Ancient Greece • The Ancient Greeks interacted with their environment by • They adapted to soil and made wine out of grapes • They also made trade and life at the ocean while they fished for food (Minoans) • Early Greece citizens (the Mycenaean's) Made many things and tools for farming because they lived in the mountains where it was harder to farm • They had Respect for Nature and Their gods so they respected all life.
