Grand jury • Group of citizens • Their job is ONLY to decide whether or not enough evidence exists for a trial • If so the person will be indicted
Poll tax • A sum of money required before a person is allowed to vote
Bail • A security deposit to make sure a person returns for their trial • Set by a judge • Sum of money
