  12. 5. Was Saul Saved on the Road to Damascus? • No rejoicing (Acts 9:9) • No peace (Rom. 5:1) • Still in his sins (Acts 22:16) • Saved without calling on the name of the Lord (Acts 2:21, Rom. 10:13) • He was sent to Damascus to be told what he must do (Acts 9:6)

  13. The Conversion of Saul • People can change • Sincerity alone is not enough • The Lord will not appear to any man in order to save him • No man is saved with the “Sinner’s Prayer” • Saul was not saved on the road to Damascus

  14. “And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.” Acts 22:16
