    2. Caractersticas La investigacin cuantitativa : asume que la realidad social es relativamente constante y adaptable a travs del tiempo. Se basa en la induccin probabilstica del positivismo lgico.

    3. Caractersticas La investigacin cuantitativa : Observa relaciones causales entre fenmenos sociales desde una perspectiva mecanicista. Asume una postura objetiva, separando su postura con respecto a los participantes en la investigacin y la situacin.

    4. Caractersticas La investigacin cuantitativa a : Estudia poblaciones o muestras que representen poblaciones, haciendo una medicin penetrante y controlada. Estudia conductas y otros fenmenos observables, estudia el comportamiento humano en situaciones naturales o artificiales.

    5. Caractersticas La investigacin cuantitativa : Genera datos numricos para representar el ambiente social. Analiza la realidad social descomponindola en variables.

    6. Caractersticas La investigacin cuantitativa : Emplea conceptos preconcebidos y teoras para determinar qu datos van a ser recolectados. Emplea mtodos estadsticos para analizar los datos e infiere ms all de los datos.

    7. Caractersticas La investigacin cuantitativa : Emplea procedimientos de inferencia estadstica para generalizar las conclusiones de una muestra a una poblacin definida. Es confirmatoria, inferencial y deductiva. (Gall, Gall y Borg, 2003; Fernndez y Daz, 2002).
