  4. Situation • The inaugural Youth Olympic Games will be held in Singapore in August 2010. HCI will be hosting youth athletes from China. The Ministry of Communication, Youth & Sports (MCYS) is running the “MCYS-HCI Heritage Tours Design Competition” to select the best day tour itinerary. HCI students will play tour guides to the athletes from china during YOG 2010 using the winning itinerary.

  5. How the $20 will be used 1. Malay Heritage Centre -adult = $4 -elderly = $3 -child = $3 2. EL Sheikh Restaurant -$6.50 - $13 3. Fabrics/ traditional toys -$ 1- $ 4

  6. Activities • Visit to Malay Heritage Centre • Tour to visit shops- fabrics, drums, traditional games • Eat good food at El Sheik Restaurant

  9. Survey of Europeans • Question: “Would you come to S’pore to Kampong Glam” • Answer: “Of course! It shows the history of kampong glam and as they are from Europe, never see such things in Europe before and is a great place to stay
