As a police officer, Ambrosio gathers preliminary investigation information as a first responder to crime scenes, patrols designated districts in New York City, and prepares cases for trial and testifies in court as a witness.

  2. Benjamin Ambrosio Traits That Make an Effective Leader As a police officer, Benjamin Ambrosio is a leader in both his community and his department. While the capacity to be a great leader is to some extent innate, anyone can learn to become a more effective leader with hard work and practice. Effective leaders periodically take stock of their own personal strengths and weaknesses. They are able to perform a self-assessment in order to achieve a common goal. They know how people perceive them. He holds a Bachelors in Political Science and a Masters in Criminal Justice. He graduated in the top ten percent of his class at the New York City Police Academy in 2005. When he isn’t patrolling the streets, he can be found cooking new dishes, reading, or spending time collecting badges and watches.
