Biography: DOB: March 2,1917 DOD: December 2,1986 • Desi’s father was the mayor of Santiago (his birth place). • The 1933 revolution led by Fulgencio Batista took Desi’s father to jail and the families wealth, property and power • was gone. • Then his family fled to Miami, Florida • Desi's first jobs in America was cleaning canary cages. • After forming his little own band, Xavier Cugat hired him • and Desi ended up forming his own Latin band.

Biography: • In 1940 Desi started both in stage and in the movie called “Too Many Girls” while casting he met Lucille Ball. • They soon married and approximately 10 years later they began the “I Love Lucy” shows. • They had 2 children called Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr. • At the end of the “I Love Lucy”(1960)Desi and Lucille got divorced, then he married Edith Hirsch on1963. • Later Desi wrote an autobiography called “A Book”. • In 1986 he was diagnosed with lung cancer, and died on December 2,1986.
