  2. Introduction Rt! Rt! Rt! What animal is white cute and lives in the North Atlantic and Arctic oceans? Well it is a Harp seal of course. You’ll discover what they eat, where they habitat, and their life cycle. Let ‘s get started!

  3. What it eats Bruch, crunch, munch! Lets learn what harp seals eat. These carnivores (meat-eaters) do not chew their food. They swallow it in large chunks. These animals can crush shells with there flat back teeth. Amazing Harp seals mostly eat fish Did you know Harp seals swim from ocean to ocean following food trails of small fish? Brunch, crunch, munch there all done with lunch.

  4. Where it Lives/habitat BRRRRR! Harp seals live in water as cold as a refrigerator. You are going to discover all about there lives / habitat. Harp seals grow to be up to 5.5 feet (1.7m) long and can weigh up to 285 pounds (130kg.) These amazing animals migrate over 3,000 miles (5,000km) from the arctic waters near the North Pole to the north west Atlantic. Did you know Harp seal spend their summers in seas along the Arctic circle near Green-land. Harp seals spend little time on land and swim in the North Atlantic and Arctic oceans.   5. Life cycle/Babies Wow! Harp seals can live up to 30 to 35 years that is a long time. Pups (baby harp seals) are born in late February to mid- March each year. Seals hunt their food in groups not a lawn. Did you ever know harp seal are threatened by several natural enemies? Winter storms take their toll and kill many seals each year. Killer whales, polar bears, and sharks attack older adults that cannot swim or move fast enough to escape. Now they are at the year of 35.
