What is My Idaho Courses? • My Idaho Courses is an online course registration portal designed for students across the state to enroll in online courses that are outside their school district • My Idaho Courses is designed for schools to open their online courses outside the district boundary • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug0rE_LWa0Y Provided by the Idaho state department of education

Overview of Process • Providers are approved and loaded in system • Courses and sessions are loaded and made available • School generates code and confirms parent/guardian identity and relation to student • Parent/guardian enters code (provided by school) to complete online course registration • School counselor approves or rejects registration request • Provider is given approved student registration • Student completes course • Grade is sent to school • Student and parent/guardian rates course Provided by the Idaho state department of education

My Idaho Courses Goals • Convenient registration process • Minimal burden as possible for school staff • A wide variety of online educational courses • Utilize the IEN video connection when possible • Keep districts involved and informed • Registration approved by school counselor or staff • Easy course listing process for schools Provided by the Idaho state department of education
