  8. 5.2 Why is Shay’s Rebellion important? • It (along with other problems) convinced American political leaders that the A of C gov’t had to be strengthened. but….. How much change? How to change it? • May 1787 in Philadelphia- each state would send a delegation to work on problems and possible improvements to the A of C • Would become “The Constitutional Convention”
