  2. MAINTAINING ALL-WEATHER TIRES • When you buy all-weather tires, you will not be bothered by the hassle of switching to a different set of tires every winter or summer. However, for you to enjoy the benefits of the all-weather tires to the fullest, you need to observe proper maintenance on them. Adequate support of these tires includes things like making sure that tires have been inflated to appropriate levels and that they are taken for alignment occasionally and rotated, if needed.

  3. MAINTAINING ALL-WEATHER TIRES • Checking the air pressure of your all weather tires should be done at least once every month. You can check the air pressure or take your vehicle to a car service station to have the pressure checked for you. If you decide to check the air pressure on your own, you will need to remove the valve stem and put the end of the pressure gauge on top of the valve stem. Once you do that, the air pressure in the tire will push the PSI indicator out below the sign and indicate the level of tension in the casing. Check and make sure that all four tires are inflated to the recommended pressure before you take your vehicle to the road.

  4. MAINTAINING ALL-WEATHER TIRES • You will also need to check tire wear occasionally to know when it is time to replace your all-weather tires. As you continue to use the tires, the treads will wear down and result in less grip and traction. It is recommended to check tread wear at least once a month usually when you are checking air pressure. You should monitor the tread wear indicators to see how much tread has worn out. When the tire has worn to an unsafe level, the indicator shows that it is time to replace the tires. In case you see uneven tread wear, it will be a good idea to have the tires checked by an expert as this could be an indicator of an alignment problem.

  5. MAINTAINING ALL-WEATHER TIRES • When it comes to wheel alignment and rotation, you will have to visit a car service station if you do not have the tools for doing these two things. Rotation can quickly be useful because you can find the recommended rotation intervals in the user manual that your vehicle came with.
