  1. ABSTRACT Antimicrobial activity of methanol extract, ethyl acetate extract, and dichlorometane extract from endophytic fungi Kabatiella caulivora var.A Kabatiella caulivora var.A is one of the endophytic fungi was isolated from Pulasari (Alyxia reinwardtii Bl). The aim of the study was to assay the antimicrobial activity from methanol extract, ethyl acetate, dichlorometane extracts of the endophytic fungi Kabatiella caulivora var.A against Bacillus subtilis FNCC 0059, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Salmonella thypi, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, and Candida albicans . The assay was conducted disc diffusion method with two concentration extract (10.000µg/disc and 5.000µg/disc). The antimicrobial activity was evaluated by determination of the diameter of zone of inhibition against Bacillus subtilis FNCC 0059, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Salmonella thypi, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, and Candida albicans. The research showed that methanol and ethyl acetat extracts both have positive antimicrobial activity against Bacillus subtilis FNCC 0059, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Salmonella thypi, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans in both concentration extract (10.000µg/disc and 5.000µg/disc). Dichlorometane extract have positive activity against Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 and Bacillus subtilis FNCC 0059 at 10.000µg/disc. Key words: Antimicrobial activity, endophytic fungi, Kabatiella caulivora var.A, Alyxia reinwardtii Bl.
