This document summarizes the ongoing collaboration efforts regarding the target and horns for the MiniBooNE experiment. Active discussions are being held with E. Zimmerman and L. Bartoszek regarding beam Monte Carlo simulations and contributions from RAL on target designs. Meetings with BNL focus on target development. Teams from KEK, Kyoto, and LSU are contributing to the design of target cooling pipes and conducting tests on the 1st horn's inner conductor. Finalization of the inner conductor shape for the 3rd horn is underway, alongside validations for safety factors in the cooling system.

Collaboration Target&horns@IBR 040721 • Active discussion with E.Zimmerman and L. Bartoszek(MiniBooNE horn constructor) on the horns and beam MC is on going. • There was a discussion on possible contribution by RAL on target and baffle. • There was a meeting with BNL around target. • In these days, in addition to KEK, people from Kyoto (Nakadaira, Sato) and LSU(Hatakeyama) are working on target&horns. status • Conceptual design of the target cooling pipes have been done. • Start discussion with company about R&D and actual production. • Cooling test for the 1st horn inner conductor are being done. • Inner conductor shape of the 3rd horn is almost finalized.
