  7. High School Credits 5 credits for full year courses 2.5 credits for half year courses 6 credits for laboratory science courses Minimum of 35 credits per year

Minimum Requirements for College Admission English 20 credits Social Studies 15-20 credits Mathematics 15-20 credits Science 15-20 credits World Language (same language) 10-20 credits *Each college has specific requirements as to what courses must be taken in high school. The more rigorous the institution, the more rigorous the requirements. Institutions require a minimum of 16 college units. One academic year equals one college unit.
