My Marathi. Marathi language learning CDs. My Marathi is a CD based Marathi self study tool built by the next generation, for the next generation. My Marathi has four main modules so that someone can choose the path that works for them: GRAMMAR CULTURE CONVERSATIONS VOCABULARY.

The GRAMMAR MODULE presents a grammatical rules/exceptions approach to learning the language. • The Grammar Module starts from the basics of Marathi from the Marathi alphabet, to joining consonants with vowels to create nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. Then progresses to explain how words are used to create sentences. • Sound bytes are included throughout the CD for illustration of pronunciations. • The next few slides show excerpts from the GRAMMAR MODULE...

It is essentially a whole other text which can be used instead of or in parallel with the Grammar Module to learn Marathi. • Each set of conversations presents: • New mini-conversations written in Marathi, phonetic Marathi/English, English translation and will always include pronunciation sound bytes • Possible variations of sentences in the conversations • Notes to point out new phrases or meanings • Questions for practice

The VOCABULARY MODULE is a searchable dictionary of over 9,000 Marathi words and phrases. • You can search for words by: • their English Definition • Phonetic spelling in Marathi • Part of Speech • Or any combination of the above Sound bytes are included for illustration of pronunciations of every word/phrase.
