  5. Which way do you shade the graph? Graph the inequality y > -x + 2 What is the easiest point to pick? (0,0) Plug in – 0 > - (0) + 2

  6. Which way do you shade the graph? Graph the inequality y > -x + 2 0 > - (0) + 2 Is this true? NO. So don’t cover this point; shade the other direction.

  7. What if the answer WAS true? Graph the inequality y < -x + 2 0 < - (0) + 2 Is this true? YES. So DO cover this point; shade the graph to cover the point.
