THE AVENUE- the organisation • THE AVENUE is a truly Human Capital Services Organization focused on providing Executive Search and Recruitment services to client organizations coupled with associated HR services aiming towards Total HR solutions. It has a backing of nearly 7 years of operations and has serviced a wide sectorial spectrum and an equally variant range of profiles, for all levels of management.

The BharatOman Refineries Experience The Avenue has had an opportunity to work for Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL), a company promoted by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) with equity participation from Oman Oil Company Limited (OOCL) to set up a 6 MMTPA grass root refinery at Bina, District Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India. Working for BORL, The Avenue conceptulized “THE PRE RECRUITMENT PROCESS”, to facilitate and streamline the massive inflow of applications from across India and abroad.

THE PRE RECRUITMENT PROCESS • The following activities were undertaken in this process • Stage 1 : Coding of Jobs as per criteria • Stage 2 : Receipt of job applications • Stage 3 : Sorting and segregation of job applications on basis of department and position • Stage 4 : Tabulating all data in worksheets • Stage 5 : Analysis of data and ascertaining suitability against applied position • Stage 6 : Moderating of data to match with other profiles in the organisation in case not suitable for applied position

THE PRE RECRUITMENT PROCESS • Stage 7 : Sorting of tabulated data into shortlisted and rejected categories on basis of education, experience, KRA and other defined organisational criteria • Stage 8 : Creating separate folders for shortlisted and rejected applications along with the worksheets containing data on the same. • Stage 9 : All applications not matching any of the client requirements are categorised irrelevant and also submitted to the client

  6. ADVANTAGES OF THE PROCESS • Saving time and efforts • Since the segregation and sorting of profiles is done by a team of technically sound HR professionals , the margin of error is very minimal • Cost Effective • Data available in tabulated manner to facilitate future requirements

CLIENTS WHO UTILISED THE PROCESS This process has been sucessfully implemented with the Bharat Oman Refineries and has been utilisted by them for 4 recruitment cycles when the Refinary was in a project stage and large volume of manpower had to be identified and put into work on very tight deadlines. The Avenue is in the process of multiplying the concept for other clients also.
