A total of 5,107 food samples were analyzed, with 72 testing positive for Salmonella. In water and wastewater testing, 129 samples were collected, with only 2 positives. The report also highlights the isolation of various serogroups, focusing on serogroup C2, which had one identified instance. This data underscores the need for ongoing monitoring of food and water safety in the region.
