  1. New proposal extending the services created by Modification 279 historic asset and read data • Modification 279 created an annual report (on request at a point in time) for meter point asset and read information for the current registered user for a defined period prior to their current registration of the relevant supply point • Shippers have advised that there is a requirement for this meter point asset and read information for the period prior to the relevant supply point registration to be available on a more frequent basis to allow the timely resolution of any data discrepancies. • Two feasible options have been identified.

  2. Mod 279 + options • Option 1a • Extend permission in UNC to make the data available on an ongoing basis • Remove the UNC service. Shippers contract directly with Xoserve to obtain the information • Option 1b • As option 1a but the annual service becomes a non-code User Pays service for the annual service • Option 2a • Extend permission in UNC to make the data available on an ongoing basis • Withdraw the annual service, create new UNC services for annual monthly service (12 reports per year) for the forthcoming year, and an annual quarterly service (4 reports per year) for the forthcoming year • Option 2b • As option 2a but the services are non-code User Pays services (not UNC services)

  3. Mod 279+ option considerations • The development of the report has already been completed and funded via User Pays mechanisms so there are minimal development costs for any option. Any change in data from the original Mod 279 service will require development costs • The annual service can be withdrawn as two more frequent services are available • Shippers can contract directly with Xoserve for bespoke services that include the Mod 279 data • Utilising the non-code User Pays service still retains the obligation to provide the service under GT SSLC A15 and simplifies the service order, invoicing processes and the UNC legal text drafting • For all permissions and options the data available to be provided would be for a maximum of 12 months history from the relevant confirmation effective date. • Following discussion at this meeting raise a UNC modification for a single option

  4. Mod 279+ data items • For information, the data items for mod 279 and proposed for the revised modification are: Shipper short code, meter point reference number, meter reading, meter reading date, read type, corrector corrected reading, corrector uncorrected reading, meter manufacturer code, meter model name, meter serial number, meter number of dials or digits, number of corrected dials, meter through the zeros count, corrector through the zeros count, imperial meter indicator, meter reading factor, reading units, correction factor, exchange meter serial number, exchange correction factor, exchange imperial indicator, exchange reading factor, exchange reading units, exchange number of digits or dials, exchange meter through the zeros, exchange start reading, exchange start reading date, exchange end reading, exchange end reading date, corrector exchange start reading, corrector exchange start reading date, corrector exchange end reading, corrector exchange end reading date, filter failure triggered
