  3. Background • Heating with Central heating boilers accounts for more than 20% of the EU energy balance. • The optimal choice of appliances will have a large positive impact on energy saving and CO2 emissions. BISON - EIE/07/278/SI2.467623

  4. Objectives and main steps Setting up the information system (based on annual efficiency) / make it freely available on the Internet in the form of an interactive tool to be used by consumers, installers and energy consultants. • Development, testing and validation of a tool. • Development of an EU boiler data base. • Information and promotion of the system.
