  4. Control • Chemical - Herbicides- help with short term control, and can reduce spread in dense clusters • Mechanical - Repeated cuttings below the water reduce density, but do not kill it • Combination - Best method to control this problem

  5. Characteristics • Flowering Rush 2 Cytotypes sexual and Asexual Diploid is most common Rhizomes; Bulbs; and Seeds Seeds can last Years
