  2. What was the Nuremberg Trials? • The Nuremberg Trials was about the trials of the Nazi criminals at the end of WWII • It was done in two separate trials. The first trial, was aimed at the major crimes and the second trial was about the lesser crimes committed. • There were four major charges: • Conspiracy to wage war • Waging in aggressive wag • War crimes • War against humanity “Postwar World”

  3. Franklin Roosevelt was the President during that time and he asked the War Department to plan on how to punish the Nazi criminals, but he suddenly died. Soon after, Supreme Court Justice, Robert Jackson was chosen to handle the criminals. He represented the US in the IMT (International Military Tribunal) after the war. Russia, Great Britain and France were allies and also had there own representation. ”The Nuremberg Trials"

  4. Nuremburg, Germany Nuremburg, Germany was the chosen place for the trials because many of the courthouse were unusable after the war. Thus, it was called the Nuremberg Trials.
