How does it start? • Identity theft starts with the misuse of your personally identifying information such as your name and Social Security number, credit card numbers, or other financial account information. War Driving • Wardriving is the act of searching for Wi-Fi wireless networks by a person in a moving vehicle, using a portable computer or PDA. • CAN EASILY LEAD TO WARKITTING • Always enable a PASSWORD for your wireless networks AND • Change the master password on any and all home wireless devices.

Dumpster Diving • Dumpster diving is when thieves go through the garbage dumpsters and recycling garbage specifically looking for personal information, such as credit card statement, bank statements, and other personal information… basically whatever they can get! • To avoid being a victim of dumpster diving ALWAYS use a shredding machine !! (a shredder)
