August 2019 • What’s happened since April 2019?… • Morrisons listed Jazz Mini Carton 55/60mm in February/March…. 100,000 sold, and 75,000 June/July. • Tesco agreed to selling 55/60mm in ‘.Rosedene’ May-August 2019. • Tesco. In order to drive increased consumer demand/awareness agreed x3 promotions agreed for the summer. • Tesco 12x6…increased store ranging from 365 stores up to 528 stores. • M&S self-funding a 65p/70p deals.

  4. Jazz Apple Overview.. August 2019 • What’s happened since April 2018… • Developed Wholesale cat 1 demand, selling 6-8 pallets per week. • Jazz bespoke displays in Sainsburys, during May/June….

Social Media Hungry has continued to run the JAZZ™ Apple UK Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages Posts have gone out daily and included posts about JAZZ™ Apple attributes, events, recipes, stockists, competitions and the JAZZ™ Apple Foundation Images and post templates provided by the NZ team have also been used throughout the season

Twitter • Followers up 576 to 10,048 • Over 5,500 profile visits • Over 2,500 mentions • Over 248,624 tweet impressions Facebook • Page likes up from 14,373 to 14,562 • Followers up from 13,907 to 14,100 • Posts have reached over 16,850 people Instagram • Followers up 200 to 3,849 • Average post like around 40 • Over 1,000 post likes Social Media

  8. Newsletter • The newsletter has risen to 28,173 • Prizes we have given away so far include the Apple iPad Pro (14,583 entries), Ice Cream Machine (6,298)and a Weber BBQ (6,830 still running)

  10. Southern Hemisphere 2019 Season • Will sell…10,150 NZ Tonnes, Chile Tonnes, South Africa 564,000 x18kilo. • Sold to Aug 4.. 5,635Tonnes.. 313,000 x18kilo. • To sell… 4515 Tonnes.. 251 k TCE. • Season halfway through and expected to run until the end of October.

Jazz 2019/20 seasonal update • Northern Hemisphere Crop 2019/20 Estimate.. • UK grown Jazz 6800 tonnes gross/5450 tonnes net… +30% v last season. • EU grown Jazz 32700 tonnes gross/25000 tonnes net... +25% v last season. • Sales to commence late October. • ASDA to move to x6 pack.. 60/65-63/68mm. • Aldi to list Jazz kids pack.. 55/60-58/63mm. • Morrisons loose now x7kilo single layer. • Will need to explore ALL sales opportunities.. UK, Continent, Export. All currently being worked on, with the team to meet up in September.
