Increased Personalization – FGAC • Fine-Grained Targeting (Personalization) and Delegation • Boolean Expressions (i.e., AND, OR, NOT) + Attributes (e.g., role, major, year, GPA) Target = (role=student) AND ((GPA = >3.2) NOT (major = English)) • De-centralize delegation with control • Authorization at the application and target level rather than application level
Hands On Session • Launch browser ‘IE icon’ • Navigate to http://sumv182.summit04.sct.com/ • This will launch Luminis login • Each participant has a set of student user credentials • Your username: tr1usr##. Example: User 02 tr1usr02 • All Passwords: summit
Task #1 - Join a Group and download the Instructions • Select the groups icon in the upper right hand corner • Find the Summit 2007 workshop group and join – Look in ‘Social’ category • Select the Files area and download the ‘Summit 2007 Workshop Instructions’ document
