  1. The Spatial Inequality of Mexico City and Detroit By Sofia P, Lydia B, Chelsea S, and Shayna K.

  2. Rich DetroitAlthough people may think that Detroit is nothing but rubbles, among these neighborhoods are large beautiful homes. These houses are equipped wit multiple stories, bathrooms, and living spaces. Some may even have multiple stair cases and kitchens.

  3. Poor DetroitThe poor people of Detroit are limited to the luxuries that the rich have. Well they may have electricity, running water, and all other necessities of a normal home, the majority of issues are paying for these things.

  4. Rich Mexico CityLarge Villages with beautiful views fill the rich neighborhoods of Mexico city these castle like mansions belong to Mexico city’s middle and upper class residents. The owners of these garden, security system equipped homes make up only one fourth of Mexico city's population.

  5. Poor Mexico CityThe owners of the shacks in Mexico city are not able to have the amenities that many Detroiters may take for granted. Many of these properties lack running water and electricity. Many of the owners sell cheap goods on the street to make a minimal living.

  6. What is Spatial inequality? Spatial inequality is the unequal distribution or wealth or resources over a geographic area.
