Using your Imagination Imagination as a distraction • Trying not to think about something. Imagination as an anchor • Focusing on an idea.
Practice – Psalm 63 • Quiet our hearts and minds using our imagination. • Use an image from the passage • When you get distracted come back to image. • When your mind wanders, go get it and bring it back. You have to train your mind.
Read through the passage (SLOWLY) and underline verses catching your attention. • Read through the verses you underlined. What impressions do you have? Write them down • Read the passage again for the final time. Think deeply about it. Tell God the thoughts this Scripture brings to mind. Ask Him for His thoughts.
