  2. Our Career Cluster… • Our career cluster is Arts/ AV Technology/Communication • This career cluster has to deal with making, producing, exhibiting, and directing.

  3. Examples…. • Arts-Performing, Directing, Artist, Musical Theatre, Choreography • AV technology-Film and Video Editor, Photography, Animator • Communication-Journalism, Speeches, Broadcastor

  4. Musical Theatre • Musical theatre is a performing art that allows you to act with music.

  5. Experience- you need a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience Education- Bachelor's degree Film editor • Film editing is part of the process of filmmaking. It involves the selection and combining of shots into sequences.

  6. Animator • Basically the job of an animator is animating or moving 2 dimensional objects or people on a screen.

  7. Choreographer • Someone who teaches people how to dance by hiring and training them for the future and so the can become better. Also, they make up new dances and dance shows.

  8. Art Teacher • What I do is color theory, basic drawing, and figure drawing • Portrait art, pen and ink, and watercolor art • Oil and acrylic painting, mixed media, cartooning, and matting and framing your art work • Professional presentation of your work and conducting the business of an Artist

  9. In Conclusion… • The arts has a variety of different careers to choose from.
