  3. Clinical Chemistry • It applies chemical, molecular and cellular techniques to understand and evaluate of human health and disease

  4. Clinical chemistry is involved in the study & measurment of chemical composition of blood & other body fluids as urine, CSF, pleural and peritonial fluids • Examples of biochemical components include lipids, enzymes, electrolytes, substrates and proteins

  5. By the end of this course, students will be able to 1- Practice manual & automated routine & complex analytical procedures 2- Emphasis on accuracy of test performance, use of instruments, result interpretation, problem solving 3- Apply theoretical principles to clinical laboratory situations 4- Perform highly qualified blood sampling
