  2. Apparel Designer Apparel Designer-The art of the application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories, and you can specialize in one area. This fits in the Fashion Design Industry because this job is designing the clothes and accessories for the Industry. Education required for this job is usually a 2-year or 4-year degree and have knowledge about textiles, fabrics, and Fashion trends. Some schools that are very popular and are considered the top schools are Parsons-The New School for Design (New York), PRATT (Brooklyn, NY), and Kent State University (Kent, OH)

Tasks and responsibilities • The main goal and task is to develop and create various pieces of apparel • Guiding all steps of the design process from, initial conception to final manufacture and marketing. • Monitoring current fashion trends and movements, and predict future ones • They have to work with Creative directors, models, tailors, patternmakers, and clients • Create sketches and samples • Put together a theme collection
