Module Objectives • Add a gender/diversity perspective to existing ITU course Introduction to Regulation • Explore how regulatory goals, practice and organisation impact on gender/diversity in telecommunication’s sectors • Sensitise participants to the challenges of mainstreaming gender/diversity practice in regulatory structures

Building Future Scenarios • Scenario: A picture and/or story guided by specific information concerning possible systemic change that details what members of an organisation want the organisation’s culture and climate to look like in the future • Central Question: What is the nature of the rules & regulations likely to create greater inclusion of gender, culture in telecoms sectors?

  17. Scenario Presentations • Each group please select an individual to report your scenario outcomes • Please remember that your future scenario is meant to address a more sustainable and holistic approach to regulation that incorporates gender equality and diversity practice

  18. Dialogue: Future Scenarios • What is unique, innovative, workable and desirable about the futures presented? • Break into regional groups to explore the ways in which these scenarios might be implemented
