This week in Advanced Economics, we explore labor relations through the lens of recent events such as Foxconn's commitment to improve working conditions. Key concepts include collective bargaining agreements, union dynamics, arbitration, mediation, and strike actions. We review historical aspects of the labor movement and examine an actual CFT contract. Students are reminded of upcoming homework due dates and the countdown to the Seniors' Last Day. Join us as we dissect the complexities of labor economics and its impact on the workplace.
