  1. Week Beginning Monday 11th November 2013 Marie Madeleine and the FCJ Values

  2. Monday 11th November 2013 Read the following vision statement prayerfully: Inspired by the Gospel and true to Marie Madeleine’s founding ideal, our vision is that FCJ schools are communities of personal and academic excellence.

  3. Strong in companionship, the unique giftedness of every person in these faith communitiesis recognised, nourished and celebrated.

  4. Our hope and expectation is that, through God’s grace working in us all, each young person grows into their best self, with zest for life and the generosity and confidence to use their talents and gifts in the service of others. As you read this, what do you feel? What touches you? What challenges you? What gives you joy?

  5. Let us pray: Generous God, you blessed this world with the life, faith and example of Marie Madeleine, and inspired her to begin the FCJ community. As we thank you for her we pray for the FCJ family across the world. In this time of celebration and remembrance, give us the courage and strength to be faithful companions of Jesus, too, through the way we choose to live, the words we choose to say, the actions we choose to share, and the attitude we choose to take. Amen. prepared by Jonathan Leach, former Lay Chaplain at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College, Liverpool
