  1. Week Beginning Monday 11th November 2013 Marie Madeleine and the FCJ Values

  2. Tuesday 12th November 2013 Excellence “The best lesson I could give is that of example.” MagdalenAdnett, fcJ (1845-1917) Companionship “Companionship is breaking the bread of life together as Together we live God’s dream for each one of us more fully. Together we learn, pray, laugh and cry.” As you read these two quotes and think about these two values, can you think of an example when you have lived out these values in your everyday life?

  3. Let us pray: Generous God, you blessed this world with the life, faith and example of Marie Madeleine, and inspired her to begin the FCJ community. As we thank you for her we pray for the FCJ family across the world. In this time of celebration and remembrance, give us the courage and strength to be faithful companions of Jesus, too, through the way we choose to live, the words we choose to say, the actions we choose to share, and the attitude we choose to take. Amen. prepared by Jonathan Leach, former Lay Chaplain at Bellerive FCJ Catholic College, Liverpool
