  2. 2009-2010 Program Goals • 70% of the students admitted to the program will progress through to completion without interruption.  • OTA graduates pass rate on the National Board of Certification Examination will exceed the national average. • 80% of graduates will be employed in traditional or non traditional wellness or health care settings post graduation 6 months post graduation. • New graduates of the OTA program will rate the program’s effectiveness on an average score of “3” as measured by the OTA Program Survey. • 100% of OTA faculty will be rated as “Good” or above by students. • Job technical skills will be rated at “3” or above by employers of OTA program graduates. • Work place behaviors will be rated at “3” or above by employers of OTA program graduates.

  9. 2009-2010 OTA Degree Plan (cont.) • Neurology Updated • Will include lab component beginning Summer 2010 • OTHA 1162 • Pre-Clinical component added to the existing course • Includes skill re-assessment to ensure competence prior to physical disabilities clinical placement (vital signs, transfers, body mechanics, MMT, goniometry, etc.) • Student reports very positive
