The Ones family lived on this side of the house. And the Tens family lived on this side of the house. Once upon a time, there was a little house that was shared by two families. Everything was calm and peaceful until one day when the Ones family decided to let some cousins move in...
TENS ONES There are 6 of us who live here! But we want our 7 cousins to live with us, too! Uh-oh, we’re too crowded... How many of us are here now? Now, the Ones family was very nice, but they were just little tots. And everyone knows that little Ones always like to have their way, or else... (Watch out for the TEMPER TANTRUMS! 3 6 2 7 1 3
TENS ONES “Yes, but we only have room in the attic.” Hey, you look like a Ten! Only Ones live here. Let’s see if you can go live with the Ten family. Well the Tens family knows what happens if the Ones don’t get their way! So they said... 1 3 6 2 7 X 1 3
AAAHHHHH!!! TENS ONES “Let’s get in the car to go get our shopping done.” “Looks like we’re all here, but I think someone is missing...” 5 “Did you hear that? Oh-no, we forgot about our friend in the attic! Let’s get him!” “There are really 6 of us, not 5! We’ll never forget you again!” The Tens were very happy with their newest family member, but they had errands to run. 1 3 6 2 7 6 3
THE END As time went on, the Tens family tried very hard to never forget about their newest family member who lived in their attic and they invited him wherever they went! And just in case they might forget in the future, they kept the light on up there to remind them!
