(days, years, non specific) • Fulfillment of six things • To finish the transgression • To make an end of sins • To make reconciliation for iniquity • To bring in everlasting righteousness • To seal up vision and prophecy • To anoint the Most Holy

Seventy WeeksDaniel 9:26-27 • After: • Messiah will be cut off, but not for Himself • People of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary • For one week He shall confirm a covenant with many • In the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering • The abomination and desolation to come

  7. Seventy Weeks of Daniel 9 • The Passage is admittedly difficult. • We must lose not sight of the confirmation of these prophecies: • The city of Jerusalem would be rebuilt • The city of Jerusalem would be destroyed • The end of vision and prophecy

  8. Seventy Weeks of Daniel 9 • We also must not lose sight of the wonderful promises that we can receive because of the death of the Messiah: • The end of sins • The everlasting righteousness WHAT A WONDERFUL GOD WE SERVE!
