  4. 1. Pessah(Passover) Redemptionfromslavery in Egypt. Believers in Christ are redeemedfrom the slavery of sin and death. « For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. » (1 Peter 1:18-19) Crucifixion Redemption

  5. 2. Hag Hamatzot(Unleavened Breads) Gettingrid of all leaven (symbol of sin). All believers in Christ are washedfromtheirsins and receive the power to walk as a new creation. « Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch, as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.. » (1 Cor 5:7) « God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. » (2 Cor 5:21) Sanctification Justification

  6. 3. Hag Habikurim(First Fruits) Givingthanks for the first fruits, which are the promise of the harvest to come. Christ, the first born out of death, is the promise of ressurrection and eternal life for thosewhobelieve in Him. « But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.  » (1 Cor 15:20-22) The resurrection of Christ

  7. 4. Shavuot (Weeks, Pentecost) Givingthanks for the first harvest, and commemorating the time when the Law wasgiven on Mount Sinai (according to oral tradition). The first harvest / ingathering of thosewho have been redeemed in Christ (Jews and Gentiles). The Law of Godiswritten in the hearts of the Redeemed. « The day of Pentecost… theywere all filledwith the Holy Spirit… and about three thousand were added to their number that day. » (Acts 2:1,4,41) « I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.» (Hebrews 10:16) (Jeremiah 31:31-33) The coming of the Holy Spirit The birth of the Church

  8. Then comes summer : a season of labor in the field in preparation for the final harvest (the Church age) !“Open your eyes and look at the fields!   9. 5. Rosh Hachana(Trumpets) A solemnassembly. Weblow the trumpets to prepareourselves for the day of atonement of sins. The start of the regathering of Israel in the holy land, in preparation for the final day of atonement. The gathering of all believers (thosewhodied and thosewho are alive at the Rapture) in heavenwith Christ. « I will surely gather them from all the lands where I banish them in my furious anger and great wrath; I will bring them back to this place and let them live in safety.They will be my people, and I will be their God.  » (Jérémie 32:37-38) « For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. » (1 Thess 4:16-17 ; 1 Cor 15:52) Israelregathered Rapture of the Church and return of Christ

  10. 6. Yom Kippur (Atonement) A solemnassembly for repentance and forgivenessunder the Law (has to berepeatedeachyear). The believers in Christ are forgiventhanks to a once-for-all atonement, valid for all times. The remnant of Israel & the people of the Nations redeemed in Christ.

  12. 6. Yom Kippur (Atonement) A solemnassembly for repentance and forgivenessunder the Law (has to berepeatedeachyear). The believers in Christ are forgiventhanks to a once-for-all atonement, valid for all times. The remnant of Israel & the people of the Nations redeemed in Christ. « Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many... » (Hebrews 9:28) « And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spiritof grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. » (Zechariah 12:10) Tribulation & Great tribulation Israelrepents and turns to herMessiah

  13. 7. Succoth (Tabernacles) Rejoicingduring 7 days for the protection and provision of Godduring the time in the desert. Celebration over the harvest. The Church and Christ are together on Earth, as the MessiahrulesfromJerusalem. • Deuteronomy 16:13-15 • Leviticus 23 : 33-43 • « Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. » • (Zechariah 14:16) • « They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. » (Revelation 20:4) The Messiahrules in Jerusalem for 1000 years.

Who we are Life In Messiah International (formerly AMF International) is a faith-based ministry committed to seeing the Lord's purpose for the Church fulfilled as Jews and Gentiles are made one through faith in Messiah Jesus ! We do this through evangelism, discipleship, and equipping believers for effective ministry, with the priority “to the Jew first...”
