  2. Where? Sardinia is next to Italy. For now it is part of it but it is going for independence! Unfortunately not many people now about Sardinia so I will take you to the magical world in it. The pinkyred island is Sardinia.

  3. The Beaches Sardinia is full of beaches pretty much all of them are blue and green and have only sand. In summer you can go down and (unlike here) have a swim. Left is a picture of a beach named Nora and on the right one named Poetto…

  4. Nuraghe Nuraghe is a Sardinian word. It is the name of a prehistoric building or tower built by the Sardinians in the Bronze Age (4500bc). People had villages around the nuraghe, and would use the nuraghe itself to see if the enemies were coming. Nuraghi means that there are a lot of them (which is true). Here is a picture of some.

  5. Old theatres Romans built amphitheatres by bricks 1 century ac. They enjoyed coming and going there. Here is a picture of a old theatre that is near to the beach Nora.

  6. Sardinian food It is normal to a Sardinian to eat snails! It might sound disgusting but it’s a treat to them(not me) Here is a picture: As you can see it is in a tomato sauce thing! For tradition they sell a pig fully … like this:……. Its not nice to see it and I cant find a photo. Anyway Pasta And ice cream is a treat too!

  7. Tradition Sardinia has its own traditional dress. Different villages have their own different costume here is one: Every year they hold a festival called sartigla. Here is a picture: And a picture of people dancing the traditional dance. http://

  8. Carnival Sardinians celebrate carnival as a tradition! The pupils of the schools can dress up as what they want! Here is an example: You can dress as as though its Halloween. The problem is that there is no Halloween like here there is no carnival! But you still can dress scary! For carnival they do the Sartiglia!

  9. Sartiglia Sartiglia is a festival where men on their horses try to catch a star with their swords. They wear masks and are dressed with traditional dresses. They say if the catch lots of stars there will be lots of fruit and food in the fields.
