  2. Starter How would you try to communicate the story of Jesus in a way that would be interesting to modern cinema goers? Work with a partner to come up with a few ideas which you can present to the class.

  4. Make me a Christian • How are Christians represented in this clip? • Do you think this is a fair representation of Christians? Why? Why not?

  5. The Monastery • How are Christians represented in this clip? • Do you think you would like to experience life in a monastery? Why? Why not?

  6. Christians who have supported the making of films..... • They use them as a way to explain their faith. e.g. Billy Graham – produced The Hiding Place The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe Left Behind Series

The Left Behind Series • This series has been read by millions of people worldwide. • It has been made into a series of films depicting what some Christians believe will happen at the second coming of Jesus. QU: Do you think films/books should be used as a way to evangelise? Give reasons for your answer.

  8. “Christians are always presented in a negative light on television” • Do you agree? You should give at least 3 reasons for your answer. Extension – What is the opposite opinion to yours? Explain giving reasons for other peoples views.
