OVERVIEW • Began current process in late 2014 of recruiting interns from technical/trade schools to fill lineman training positions. • Twelve Locations for recruiting currently • AustinCommunity College Certificate • Amarillo College-Amarillo TX Certificate • Kilgore College-Kilgore TX Certificate • Lamar Technical College-Silsbee TX Certificate/AAS • Manhattan Technical College-Manhattan KS Certificate/AAS • Northwest Lineman College-Denton TX Certificate • Oklahoma State Technical College-Okmulgee OK AAS • South Plains College-Levelland TX Certificate/AAS • TSTC Marshall-Marshall TX Certificate/AAS • TSTC Waco-Waco TX Certificate/AAS • Western Texas College-Snyder TX Certificate/AAS • Odessa College-Odessa TX Certificate • Three Locations added in Fall of 2017 – Spring 2018 • Central Texas College(Ft. Hood)-Killeen TX Certificate/AAS • Tarrant County Community College – Ft. Worth TX Certificate/AAS • TSTC North Texas - Red Oak TX Certificate/AAS

Lineman Recruiting Team • The recruiting team consists of managers strategically located across Oncor’s service territory • The recruiters are active in visiting the schools numerous times throughout the year • The recruiters are also part of the advisory boards for each of the schools to help influence future curriculum

  5. Lineman Intern Minimum Requirements: • Certificate from an accredited lineman training school. • DOT CDL Class A License • High School Diploma or equivalent

  6. Preferred Additional Requirements: (In addition to the minimum requirements listed in previous slide) • Two-year Diploma from an accredited lineman training school • Benefits: • Associate in Applied Science • Practical and technical training • English and writing skills • Internships • Broader education

  7. Lineman Internship at Oncor • Four month internship • Works under the same limitations as a first level helper • The Intern shall not operate an Oncor vehicle in excess of one ton. • The intern shall not encroach within 36 inches of any energized conductors or equipment unless all said energized conductors and equipment are properly covered with approved protective devices. • Monthly evaluations are conducted on each intern
