  2. THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST CHAPTER 12 “A Great and Wondrous Sign" appears in Heaven- of what? 1. Of the Spiritual Nature of Satan's hatred for Israel and the Church – (THE TWO WITNESSES!) 2. Of the general "history" of Satan and his use of the "world system" to "pursue" the people of God 3. Of HOW and WHY - the antichrist will eventually come to power - culminating in a "man with the Spirit of Satan himself" (THE ANTICHRIST) - The opposite of Jesus - (Jesus was A man - yet who was also God himself) - The antichrist will be Satan's "Jesus" Chapter 12 serves to "set up" CHAPTER 13 - the Introduction of the anti-Christ. READ CHAPTER 12

  3. THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST The 7 major elements of the “Great and Wondrous Sign” The woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet. A crown of 12 stars on her head. She gives "birth" to a male child who will rule the world with an iron scepter - (Psalm 2:7-9) The woman can only be ISRAEL! The 12 stars = the 12 tribes and the 12 disciples (Israel and the Church - the 24 elders - the Two Witnesses)

  4. THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST The WOMAN’S identity is clearly revealed in scripture. Gen 37:9-11: Then he [Joseph] dreamed still another dream and told it to his brothers, and said, "Look, I have dreamed another dream. And this time, the sun, the moon, and the eleven stars bowed down to me." So he told it to his father (Jacob=ISRAEL) and his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, "What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?" And his brothers envied him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

  5. THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST 2. An enormous Red Dragon - swept 1/3 of the "stars" of heaven down to the earth with him. (See verses 7-9) This is Satan and his demonic host that were expelled from heaven in his rebellion against the LORD. (REVELATION Chapters 12:9 and 13:1-4 identifies the Dragon as Satan) The dragon tried to devour or kill the child of the woman - even beginning at birth! (King Herod, The Jewish religious system all of His ministry - and finally the Cross – ) (Satan thought it was his victory!)

  6. THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST 3. After the resurrection - and ever since - The Dragon has "pursued" the "woman" and "her offspring" Which are…ISRAEL (Spiritual and National) and the CHURCH (the two witnesses!)

  7. THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST 4. The Dragon even launched an all out attack against the Jews(like a river spewing out of his mouth) in the holocaust through his “mini- antichrist” – HITLER. Over 6 million Jews were slaughtered in the Nazi camps and ovens. Satan tried to "sweep the Jews away in the torrent!" The Muslim and Arab world has since, particularly through the PLO and Yassar Arafat, tried to continue to "sweep them away in a torrent". In 1948, one day after Israel claimed its independence, she was attacked by 7 Arab nations who were determined to "push her into the sea." Within months, Israel had defeated all her attackers!

  8. THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST 5. But the EARTH (WWII - {Trumpets one and two!}) Most of the nations of the EARTH were involved to one degree or another in WWII… the final outcome was that it … "helped the woman"

  9. THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST 6. AND...the woman was given the "two wings of A GREAT EAGLE" - so that she might be carried away and protected for a time set by GOD. consider the Great Eagle with TWO WINGS…

  10. THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST “THE GREAT SEAL OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” THE Two wings of a Great Eagle The seal is called the GREAT seal of the United States. It has been so since its inception. Note in its right talon the eagle is holding an Olive Branch - the universal symbol for peace and the Universal Biblical symbol for ISRAEL! Note that the Eagle is facing the Olive Branch. Seal-1782 Israel -1948 Note 13 arrows in its left talon Note 13 stars in the crest (Crown) above its head - ISRAEL - the WOMAN had a crown with 12 stars! E Pluribus Unum means "out of many, one".

  11. THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST ELEMENT NUMBER SEVEN of CHAPTER 12 7. And ever since... the Dragon (SATAN) has been "making war" with the rest of her (Israel's) "offspring" - "Those who hold to the testimony of JESUS!" - Christians and THE CHURCH! US!

  17. The British FURTHER divided the land to deal with Jew and Arab dissent – PALESTINE/TRANS-JORDAN

  18. 1947 – Britain turns area over to the U.N. - Further Division – 1948 – Israel claims INDEPENDENCE! The next day – WAR!

  19. AT THE END OF THE 19 Month War – ISRAEL victorious and had the “BLUE” land. Trans-Jordan becomes JORDAN

  20. 1967 – Egypt, Jordan and Syria plotted and executed another attempt to “Drive Israel into the sea”.

  21. AFTER 6 DAYS – Israel Victorious and controlled the Gaza Strip, The Golan Heights, The West Bank, The Sinai and JERUSALEM! The World called Israel – “OCCUPIERS”

  22. 1982 – Camp David Peace Accord – ISRAEL voluntarily gives back the Sinai to Egypt.

  23. WHAT MANY PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW… WHAT THE U.N. Does not want YOU to Know… AND WHAT MOST LIBERAL political parties of our nation and world don’t want you to know…. Is THIS: The so-called “Palestinian Refugees” of today were expelled from Jordan in the late 1970’s and into the 1980’s because of continual clashes with the Jordanian Government, authorities, police and military. They were militant thugs in Jordan and they are militant thugs today! Their leader then was a man named YASSIR ARAFAT. The same one, who for decades, has tormented Israel and and some how gains the ear of the rest of the World. He is the one who established the PLO as a result of being kicked out of Jordan! Most of the world wants him recognized as a legitimate government authority with whom to hold “peace” negotiations with!

And the Dragon went off to make war against the woman and her offspring (The United States and Biblical Christianity!) TODAY’S HEADLINES – October 29, 2004 – OSAMA BIN LADEN issued another tape of THREAT. He said “ The United States insists on supporting and protecting Israel. This is why we are mad!”
