Library Books • Students can check out up to 4 Books at one time • Books are checked out for a 3 week period of time. • Books can be Renewed for an additional 3 weeks • Online from the Library Web Page • In person at the Library Front Desk • You can place books on HOLD from home, using Destiny Quest – from the Library Web Page • Books can be picked up at the Library Front Desk by Break the following day

Textbooks • Be sure to get all of your books BEFORE you get behind on your homework • Bring Back to the library NOW any books for classes you DROP, don’t wait until the end of the year and its lost somewhere in your car or under your bed! • Put your name in the Front in the space provided, so you know EXACTLY which book belongs to you • Remember, we track by the BARCODE number, so you need to return the exact book we check out to you, not the one you get mixed up with your friends during a study group.

New Technology for ID • Remember – You always need your VMHS Student ID card to check out books • Now we have digital scanners that can scan your card two ways: • Hand us your ID card • Show us your ID card from a picture on your SMART Phone • Hint Camscanner App will scan and store your card in pdf password protected format. Download for free – for iPhone or Android • Be sure when you take the photo there is no glare and the barcode is completely visible for scanning
