  1. Welcome Back 2013-2014 School Year Opening Staff Meeting

  2. Connector- “What a Summer…” • Find someone to share a memory from summer with (where you traveled, something really cool you may have did, etc;) • Which people to tell? That will take a little bit of effort….(Rounds are 45 seconds each) Groups up to 3. • Round One- Same Birthday Month. • Round Two- Favorite Meal Breakfast Lunch or Dinner.

  3. Agenda • Summer changes- New Folks, intros, please! • My summer adventures: Holland, Sod Project, Kid, Train & Jimmy, Luau, Pools, the Hurricanes.

  4. Thoughts about the Vision… • At your Tables, what are some pieces of the vision that you react to? • Look over that and develop a theme at your table. • Our 2013 theme is…… • 5 minutes (not much time) to discuss and develop. • We will share out Our 2013 Theme is…

  5. Walk through of the Binder.. • Let’s take a few and walk through the binder.

  6. Mission Statement Update • At your Tables, look over the key parts of our Mission Statement for 2013. • How does it look? • Edits and changes? • Take 10 minutes, discuss, record and share out.

Bingham Farms Mission Statement: The mission of Bingham Farms Elementary School is to promote rigorous academic standards, encourage positive risk taking and foster life long learning in our rapidly changing world. We all commit to closing all achievement gaps and providing engaging instruction that fosters creativity. We all commit to creating respectful, safe, and caring environments that celebrate diversity, encourage growth and addresses all learning styles.
